Carlos Caripe Ruiz is an internationalist, business administrator, academic researcher, teacher, futurist and technological investor, who has developed his professional activity in banking, the stock market, international business, business management and productive economics. In recent years, his work has focused on studying market trends by investigating the contributions of science; in health, data, energy, mobility, that is, where are the major trends that will influence the lives of the 7 billion inhabitants of the planet who are already here and the 2 billion that will be added in the next 20 years.

Knowledge about the economic power of polyvalent technologies; They have led him to develop several investigations in areas such as: Nanotechnology (Atomic Scale Engineering); Biotechnology (Life Engineering); Infotechnology (Information Engineering); Cognotechnology and Neurosciences (Brain and Knowledge Engineering), Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

His works have been oriented to the deep understanding of the human being and his thought, as well as to a transcendent incorporation of technological knowledge that has an increasingly greater influence on economic development. He also works in the dissemination of great scientific solutions that can contribute to the solution of the many problems that the governments of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean must address.

For this reason, a good part of the work is focused on studying market trends, predicting what will be required in the future and connecting that discovery with the productive sectors, knowing what is coming in health, in data, in energy issues, mobility, that is to say , where the big trends are going to be, predict how consumption will be oriented and evolve, create competitive advantages and maintain that value in the long term.

Carlos Caripe has completed four postgraduate courses; Specialization in Law (LL.M), at the Universidad Católica “Andrés Bello”; Master's Degree in Foreign Relations (MIA), at the "Pedro Gual" Institute of Advanced Diplomatic Studies; Master of Management International Business (MIB) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) both at the University of Miami. He also studied at McGill University in Montreal and at the Madrid Business Institute. Currently, he is a researcher in the area of Neurosciences, in the Master's program at the Externado University of Colombia.
